Of course, we could get one of those free certificates and install it ourself, but it's complicated and I'd have to do it every three months, which is absurd. So I'll pay GoDaddy to do all the hard work, assuming y'all help out with the $$$.

So ... well it is not really a PLEDGE DRIVE, we don’t want pledges, we want cash money, which you can donate via PayPal. Some people dislike PayPal, so if you are one of those people just send an email and we’ll see what we can work out. (And no, I don’t do bitcoin or one of those things—I had some bitcoin and lost it all in a computer crash, seeing as how I had backed up the wrong thing! So it goes.

In other news, I have exceeded the Biblical “three-score and ten” it seems. Seventy-one years old. No wonder I feel crummy all the time! I remember my grandfather looking like he was in a daze a lot of the time. But he was in his 90s by then—went from covered wagons to trips to the moon in his lifetime. Dazed it is!
