Massa Bloomberg Speaks!
by L. Neil Smith
I have never liked or respected Michael R. Bloomberg,
even the slightest bit. This, you may remember, is the hyper-authoritarian
specimen who, as Mayor of New York City, attempted to employ the full force
of the law—33,000 badges, assorted pistols, revolvers, shotguns,
nightsticks, tear gas, handcuffs, belly chains, maybe even brass knuckles
and leaded saps—the whole toy-box of the coercive state—to tell you how much
Coca Cola you may drink at any given time.

The Difference Between Men and Women – Variations on a Theme
by Sarah A. Hoyt
Sorry that I didn’t put up a post yesterday, but we were
installing a kitchen isle to add to the counter space downstairs.
It was sort of a lesson in the differences between men and women.
Myself and accomplice, neither of us fainting maidens,
first went to the cabinet store, and found that cabinets we could barely
move with much effort between the two of us were hefted around effortlessly
by teenage employee who probably weighed all of 90 lbs and therefore less
than either of us, and had arms like boiled spaghetti, but who had the
blessings of testosterone making him much stronger than either of us.

“Introduction” to Getting Libertarianism Right by Hans-Hermann Hoppe
by Sean Gabb
The writings collected in this book are mostly addresses
given in Bodrum to the Property and Freedom Society, of which Professor
Hoppe is both Founder and President. I was fortunate to hear them read out
to the gathering, and I am deeply honoured to have been asked to provide an
Introduction to the published versions.

The Most Important Thing You Can Do This Fall
by Vin Suprynowicz
Let’s face it, the most important thing you can do this
Fall to preserve common decency in America and the reasonably civil,
non-violent Constitutional republic we knew before the Far left turned into
deranged, foam-at-the-mouth savages on Nov. 8, 2016, is to make sure Donald
Trump has a stronger Republican Congress to back him up—one with some
testicles, this time—leading through to his almost certain 2020 re-election
landslide.

Calling Out Those Who Support Antifa
by Sean Gangol
It’s amazing how those on the left refuse to change their tactics,
despite the fact that it may cost them the next two elections. One of my
suggestions was to distance themselves from extremists, such as Antifa. So
far, I haven’t heard any politicians on the left voice any support for this
violent organization, but I have heard certain leftists in the media defend
their actions. One of them is Vox, an online left-wing propaganda center
that masquerades as an education organization. They actually had a segment
where they went out of their way to defend Antifa, by trying to convince us
that not everybody in that organization is a violent thug. This is something
that I find downright comical because violence is part of their whole
mantra. The entire reason why this organization exists is to silence all
forms of speech and expression that doesn’t match their ideology by any
means necessary. The one thing that you can say about Antifa is that they
have been upfront about their intentions.

The FBI and Christine Blasey Ford
by J. Neil Schulman
Does anybody actually care about the truth of Christine
Blasey Ford’s accusation that as a teenager President Trump’s Supreme Court
nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh drunkenly assaulted her?
Democrats don’t. They were out opposing the nomination
within minutes of the announcement. They have a fantasy that Kavanaugh would
be the swing vote to overturn Roe v Wade.
Republicans don’t. The pro-lifers have a fantasy that
Kavanaugh would be the swing vote to overturn Roe v Wade.
The #MeToo activists don’t. To them Brett Kavanaugh is
an entitled male whom they see as a symbol for male domination and violence.

Reticules
by Jim Davidson
Recently a group of freedom enthusiasts began a Twitter
group message. The group is called “FreedomCommunities” and people on
Twitter can be added to it. There will be other communications media, of
course, since Twitter has been destroying individual accounts for a wide
variety of largely irrational reasons. Our goal is to find parcels of land
in different parts of the USA and work together to buy land. After that, the
people near each parcel would work together to form a community.

Norseman's Diaries—Summer of Storms Part One: Quenching the Dry Belt
by Jeff Fullerton
Busy days and the summer edition is long overdue. It took several weeks
to put this together and would probably get put off yet another week if I
didn’t push myself to get it done.
Picking up where I left off with this thread back around
the end of May; the Springtime Reboot; the recovery continues with the
rebuilding of the turtle flocks by replacing lost members and production of
new offspring. One sure sign that it is time to start watching my females
and getting the incubator ready is when I see wild turtles like this female
snapper I found crossing the road on my way to work one morning.
