Attribute to L. Neil Smith’s The Libertarian Enterprise

Okay, I quit. I was never inclined to ask why a guy would take a gun into a crowded area and start shooting innocent, unarmed people at random until he killed himself or got killed by an armed defender. It sounds too much like The Parallax View or some other conspiracy movie. It has happened again and again. But I’m never going to ask again. I know why; the question now is who.

A former Marine enters a country music club carrying a Glock Model 21 .45 caliber automatic pistol (sort of the ultimate personal weapon our culture offers) with a conveniently extended magazine (our enemies’ next target for infringement). He kills and wounds about thirty people, many of whom “coincidentally” survived the Las Vegas country music concert massacre, a bizarre event which has been stonewalled and lied about by Obama-legacy feds and untrustworthy/incompetent local law enforcement for more than a year.

The real question is, who wound this automaton up and set him loose? Is there some secret murderous cabal that hates country music, or do they just want to eliminate Glock pistols from society, which are pretty much the kind of thing the Founding Fathers had in mind—a quality civilian pistol as good (and cheap) as a junky government assault rifle—when they wrote the Second Amendment? Or even more chilling, did enough of the intended people somehow fail to die at that first concert?

Is somebody collecting Ambroses?

Democrat Representative Eric Swalwell immediately jumped in front of a TV camera to blame Arizona and Nevada, states where the Second Amendment is still respected and enforced, for the mass shooting. He knows absolutely nothing about buying firearms across state lines—or that this guy’s weapon was legally owned. Mind you, if this particular politician’s head were any further up his ass, he would disappear like Igli (see Robert Heinlein’s Glory Road). He is, without a doubt, the Alexandria Octavio-Cortez of California.

The puzzling fact—that the shooter had been a United States Marine—makes me pretty certain that he was involuntarily “conditioned” somehow, or possibly heavily drugged. But perhaps I’ve been overly influenced by Leroy Jethro Gibbs. You’ll know for sure when the guy’s autopsy report proves impossible to get ahold of.

Naturally, all the anti-gun crazies in politics and the media are screaming for more “gun control”, more properly termed victim disarmament. When some simpering moron does this in your presence, mention one word: Chicago, where gun control has worked so well. The worst scavengers among them are specimens disgustingly attacking any kind individual who offers their thoughts and prayers for the victims and their families. I’m not much for prayer, myself, but when these pathetic cretins start wheepling “Do something real, don’t just pray!” I have a suggestion for them.

Aside from my anatomically impossible first thought.

Stop brutally extorting individuals not to exercise their Constitutional right to own and carry weapons. That’s what causes these atrocities, and the gun control crowd are nothing but sick enablers. Any cop, any lawyer, or any politician who makes owning or packing weapons harder must be sued back to the Stone Age, severely punished as a criminal accessory, and whatever wealth he has accumulated, confiscated and used to purchase guns for people who can’t afford them.

When the Wall is up, and they get back from the border, our military must be sent into areas—like California, Connecticut, and Manhattan—where private weapons have been illegally forbidden, and the police summarily disarmed. Once again, their guns will be given to the poor. The basic precedent was established by Dwight Eisenhower and Lyndon Johnson during the first Civil Rights struggle. People will be checked, when they enter a nightclub or airport to make sure they’re adequately armed.

If these measures appear crazy or extreme to you, then you’re part of the problem. Think how they might have sounded to the poor victims being shot in California or Las Vegas, who died wishing they could shoot back. The so-called “authorities” have proven completely unwilling or unable to defend Americans.

It is time Americans began defending themselves.
