Putin On Muslims
No wonder he was selected by Forbes as the most powerful person in the world. This is one time our elected leaders should pay attention to the advice of Vladimir Putin.
I would suggest that not only our leaders but every citizen of USA should pay attention to this advice. How scary is that?
It is a sad day when a Communist Leader makes more sense than our LEADERS here in the U.S.A. but here it is!
Vladimir Putin's speech - SHORTEST SPEECH EVER. Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, addressed the Duma, (Russian Parliament), and gave a speech about the tensions with minorities in Russia:
"In Russia, live like Russians. Any minority, from
anywhere, if it wants to live in Russia, to work and eat in Russia, it
should speak Russian, and should respect the Russian laws. If they prefer
Sharia Law, and live the life of Muslim's then we advise them to go to those
places where that's the state law.
"Russia does not need Muslim minorities. Minorities need Russia, and
we will not grant them special privileges, or try to change our laws to fit
their desires, no matter how loud they yell 'discrimination'. We will not
tolerate disrespect of our Russian culture. We better learn from the
suicides of America , England, Holland and France , if we are to survive as
a nation. The Muslims are taking over those countries and they will not take
over Russia. The Russian customs and traditions are not compatible with the
lack of culture or the primitive ways of Sharia Law and Muslims.
"When this honorable legislative body thinks of creating new laws, it
should have in mind the Russian national interest first, observing that the
Muslims Minorities Are Not Russians."
The politicians in the Duma gave Putin a five minute standing ovation.
If you keep this to yourself, you are part of the problem!

Re: “Ann Coulter Has Gone Do-Lally” by L. Neil Smith
I remember watching Donald Trump on the stage on election night of 2016, with Melania and Ivanka, and thinking that whatever else happened during his administration, I'd get to viddy these beautiful women on a regular basis, something that warmed the, uh, heart of this increasingly dirty old man.

For the Greater Glory
Finally got to watch For the Greater Glory: the True Story of the Cristiada [Amazon Prime Streaming or DVD]. The movie dealt with the Cristero War in Mexico in the 1920's. For those of you who don't know, the Mexican President Plutarco Calles tried to get crush the Catholic and other Churches in Mexico. The movie has flaws but it deals with a piece of history forgotten yet extremely relevant.
In my personal case the repression of the Church in Mexico had two interesting effects. The first is that my parish priest when I was a kid had come to the United States from Spain to sneak into Mexico and keep the Faith alive. Apparently things ended before he went across the Border and he was left serving in El Paso as the Parish Priest of Holy Family Church, which is less than a mile from the Border.
Secondly, I attended Jesuit High School in El Paso. The school had originally been built as a seminary to train young men from Mexico to be priests and return to their homeland and serve in an underground Church. In the Sixties through may 1972 It was a boys' High School.
This move is relevant to the US because theoretically something like the Cristiado could not happen because of the first Amendment. Of course, the Latter Day Saints might point out that things didn't quite work that way for them. However the Cristero War in Mexico demonstrates why the phrase
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."
is so important. The Church's pre-Revolution privileged status as well as the 1920's repression demonstrate how not separating church and state invites tyranny.
Interestingly, some claim the Cristero War was the last peasant uprising (until the Zapatista Rebellion of the Nineties), a war by people bitterly clinging to their rosaries and guns against an urban government that wanted to shove socialist education down deplorable people's throats.
Some claim Calles and his followers were acting like the DNC.
