Must say that watching a couple of the clips from this farce of an impeachment hearing that I can’t seem to avoid has just cemented something in my mind that’s been getting more and more traction as the years pass: they’re nuts, with nothing holding them together other than a hate of us that is exemplified in The Donald. Each time they talk they collectively lose brain matter, and it’s only a matter of time before they’re reduced to hopping up and down on their shiny tables, throwing their own feces at folk, making noises no more intelligible than the ones made by pissy monkeys. If this is the enemy I feel pretty confident in our chances of victory. ’Bout covers it. Y’all have a great one.

Was that worth reading?
Then why not:
Nightmares
I keep seeing claims that the US military would refuse to help disarm the American people in general out of obedience to their oath to protect the Constitution. At worst the military would split and a large percentage would join gun owners in support of protecting their weapons.
Secondly there are about 1,300,000 active duty military and 860,000 in the reserves. There are about 100,000,000 people who admit owning guns. The Armed forces are outnumbered. The small percentage of military personnel with appropriate skills and willing to break their oaths are basically domed if they try anything, right?
Then it hits me, just about every regulatory agency has a paramilitary SWAT capacity. Someone evil enough and patient enough could build up a bunch of Federal, State, and local paramilitary police forces who do not respect the Constitution and would gladly help size privately owned firearms.
Enjoy your nightmares.

The state of Virginia should give us some baselines for further predictions.

TJ’s Thoughts from Wednesday
My forecast - the House will do everything they can to discredit President Trump as a person as well as make his efforts to investigate Democrat corruption look like retribution for the impeachment trial, but stop short of impeachment.
Because an honest Senate trial that exposes the Democrat corruption will destroy the Democrat party.
