The Flaw at the Center
by Sarah A. Hoyt
I did tell you I’ve been thinking a lot of heretical
thoughts, right? Downright heresy against the fundamental principles of the
society that brought me up, and the unwritten rules of the one who adopted me.

Dining in Paradox
by Jim Davidson
As Ben Stone came down the steps from the community
centre, he saw Tyrone standing with Robert Dockery and Sally Smith at the
foot of the steps. They were clearly waiting for him, as their expressions
clearly demonstrated as he came down to them.

Heeee’s Back!
by Jeff Fullerton
A follow up to my first article in this journal
submitted way back in 2013: “A Little Tobacco with your Tea” Featuring
then life choices control freak progressive Republican mayor of New York
City: Michael Bloomberg who was gaining notoriety at the time for his
disdain for tobacco and personal crusade against Big Gulp soft drinks that
were surely destined to be the ruination of the country. Who went on to
become a notorious anti gun crusader trying to jinn up hysteria in the
wake of every mass shootings before fading into obscurity.

How Black Friday Stole Xmas — and Thanksgiving and Maybe New Years
by L. Reichard White
Even Halloween Isn't Safe! I'm a market kinda guy
but as business guru Peter Drucker put it, "Markets aren't
perfect, they're not even very good, they're just better than anything
else." And so there are downsides.

In Defense of Mass Shootings
by Nic Leobold
Society is totally corrupt, and the Establishment
encourages this. Financial companies, banks, and the credit card industry
systematically financially rapes the American people on a daily basis, the
government and legal system taxes Americans at rates five times higher
than during Serfdom, social and educational institutions lock out white
men and other social Undesirables, schools torture millions of young
people and destroy their creativity and vitality, and law enforcement
victimizes millions of people in a repressive attempt to enslave the whole country.

Meandering
by A.X. Perez
Saw purple cartridge case in my lane when I was sweeping
up brass so it wouldn't be under foot. I was shooting aluminum cased
practice ammo so I was worried it had been discolored by fouling and heat
from my chamber. Turns out it's Law Enforcement practice ammo from the
youngsters in the next lane (I'm not kidding, they looked like barely 21,
if you count from the moment of conception. At a couple of weeks short of
66 most people under 30 look like kids, especially the slow aging folk in
El Paso. A lot of folk over 30 for that matter.) It's supposed to be
reloadable, but if you don't reload cases could be used for making jewelry
or Christmas decorations. I think you can order this ammo in a variety of
calibers, but I have not seen it in local stores.

New History
by Harding McFadden
A lot has been written about the current cancel culture,
and to say that those who’d just assume erase anything and everything that
they find offensive are unstable is to say that water’s wet. It’s beyond
obvious. Everything bothers these snowflakes. And, not to sound too
paranoid, but I can see the reasoning behind this as nothing short of
destroying the legacy that is America.

I’m Tired of the News
by L. Neil Smith
I never thought it would be possible, but I think I’m
suffering from news exhaustion. Usually I have the television on
twenty-four/seven, even while I write, even while I sleep, and I know that
the conflict between Donald Trump and the Dumbocrats is going to be
regarded as historic, someday, either the end of the Republic or a new
beginning. But I’m tired of Adam Shitt’s ugly, stupid face, of Nancy
Pelousi’s Parkinsonian voice, and to take it further, if I have to listen
to what Mayor Butt Petegieg regards as ideas, or Fauxcahontas’ wavery
quavery substitute teacher delivery much more—both of them regarding what
they intend to do with my fucking money—I think I’m going to throw up.
