Over the past few weeks, it has surprised me how seldom
the name Andrew Johnson has come up. Sure, every time it has been
mentioned that Donald Trump is the third (or fourth—or third and a halfth)
President to be impeached, Johnson, the first, is given a brief mention,
but very few details are offered of a story almost as stupid, insane,
villainous, and corrupt as what’s going on now.

Toxic Femininity

There is a lot of talk about Toxic Masculinity. No
one ever talks about Toxic Femininity. Though every woman who is a
functional human being knows about it, as does anyone who has ever lived
or worked in a predominantly female environment. So, why does no one talk
about it? Well, mostly because the left believes that “designated victims”
™ are sacred and must never be called on their own bullshit, no
matter how smelly. Hence also the bizarre idea of racial “privilege” that
tells you holocaust survivors should be attacked for “white privilege” but
the Obama girls raised as the creme de la creme, and never facing a day of
privation in their lives don’t have any privilege and are victims.

One of the puzzles noted by observers of the
contemporary political and cultural scene is the division of the
population into two factions, (called in the sloppy terminology of the
United States) “liberal” and “conservative”, and that if you pick a member
from either faction by observing his or her position on one of the
divisive issues of the time, you can, with a high probability of accuracy,
predict their preferences on all of a long list of other issues which do
not, on the face of it, seem to have very much to do with one another.

there was good music for dancing and they really hit it off.
