The left is flexing everything that
remains of its power to convince the
population that they’re all going to die
and that only government can save them.

Attribute to L. Neil Smith’s The Libertarian Enterprise
Well, now. I'm starting to feel ill. I think it is that I am catching my wife's head-cold. If I fall over dead, we will know that's not what it was.
This week, I announce yet another Free Book as a premium for those of you who supply financial support for L. Neil Smith’s The Libertarian Enterprise: The Anti-Federalist Papers, a collection designed to accompany the rather more famous (wonder why?) Federalist Papers. Each of the 85 Anti-Federalists were selected to pair with the same number in the Federalists, dealing with the same idea. This gives more balance to the thinking activity. In fact, I'm adding the Federalists book to the free offer for easy comparison and reference.
While the Federalists were written by Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, and James Madison, the Antis were written by a whole bunch of people, including familiar names such as Patrick Henry, DeWitt Clinton, James Winthrop, George Mason, Richard Henry Lee, and Ms. Mercy Warren. (And many others.)
And now, various and sundryous readings & cultural learnings:
Dr Ron Paul’s Warning Of ‘Coronavirus Hoax’
Governments love crises because when the people are fearful they are
more willing to give up freedoms for promises that the government will
take care of them. After 9/11, for example, Americans accepted the
near-total destruction of their civil liberties in the PATRIOT Act’s
hollow promises of security.
It is ironic to see the same Democrats who tried to impeach
President Trump last month for abuse of power demanding that the
Administration grab more power and authority in the name of fighting a
virus that thus far has killed less than 100 Americans.

Too Much Freedom & My Ability to Say, “NO,” & Instantly Enforce It
by John Farnam
Contrary to leftist dogma, I don’t carry a concealed pistol in
public, because I secretly harbor some surreptitious desire to shoot
criminals, any more that I keep a fire extinguisher in my home and
vehicle, because I harbor some consuming desire to put-out fires.
I consider these practices, both involving sensible emergency/safety
equipment, to represent reasonable and prudent precautions, ones we all
sincerely hope never become necessary.

Is Coronavirus A Globalist Solution To ‘Over Population’?

In the discussion below, Derrick Broze discusses a recent

The S*** Is Actually Hitting the Fan But Somehow It Doesn’t Feel Real
by Daisy Luther
So here we are. Right on the cusp of that SHTF event that we’ve been prepping for all these years.
A global pandemic.
A breakdown in the supply chain.
Shoppers who are already becoming agitated and even violent.
We’re watching it all unfold in our hometowns and across our nation right now.
Yet, somehow, it still doesn’t feel real to me. Is it just me who finds this hard to fathom? Am I the only one who still thinks doubtful thoughts? Like “No way. It’s going to be okay. You’re overreacting. It’s a little scare, just like Ebola and MERS and SARS.”
