Good Grief!
So we've had shortages of toilet paper, paper towels, chlorine bleach, Lysol, hand sanitizer, ammo, beans, rice, and Covid tests. But pocket T shirts? Good grief! The comment I got back:
Wonder how people are liking socialism so far?
Of course, most of these shortages are due to panic buying due to various crises. However, these are considered freak occurrences and I did find a pack of a half dozen pocket T's in my size. In a free market economy these are freak occurrences. Centrally planned economies, maybe not so freakish. Ask a Cuban.

Former GOP presidential hopeful Herman Cain dies of COVID-19
https://apnews.com/8173fe14f7cf7095ced3b55fdc65581e
Makes for a very sad week.
I met him at the regional Tea Party rally in 2011 and shook his hand after the lineup of speakers had finished. He liked my sign : “Government of the Looters, By the Looters & For the Looters.” And he was my favorite Rush Limbaugh fill in host alongside Mark Stein.
Reading the news of his passing this week was an awful shock akin to the news a few years ago of the sudden death of another talk radio favorite; Jerry Doyle. I had been aware that Mr Cain had contracted the Coronavirus but I was hoping he would pull through like many others have.
He had his faults and had his greatness like we all do. It would have made for a very fun election had he gone up against Barack Obama instead of Mitt Romney—the possibility of two black presidents back to back—a progressive followed by a man who was in my opinion the best of the Tea Party favorites running in that cycle. A dream relegated to what could have been. I’m glad to have met him and sad to know his heart beats no longer.
He will be missed by many in the conservative movement and a few libertarians as well.
