Today is the anniversary of my wife’s death. I almost decided to take the day off, but it was easier to not decide than to decide, so I didn’t. Life, as they say, is hard. Yet we somehow keep on going. That's a kind of poor quality picture, yet I really like it a lot. |
Some interesting stuff:
These maps show the extreme variations of US population density — More people in New York City than anywhere, it looks like. I’m on the edge of a Major Metropolitan Area, and it do tend to give me the heebe-jeebes, although I am starting to get used to it. Well, not “used to it” exactly, but … it does not bother me so much. Or something. Or perhaps I have gone numb in the head? Nah!
Do This One Stretch Every Day for a More Stress-Free Life, Say Experts. — I have tried this, and it does seem to help; not that I ever have any stress or anything. No sir-ree bob, I’m so relaxed I’m often mistaken for a cat taking a nap. That’s me all right. Yep. Uh huh.
To avoid pronoun problems, I recommend referring to everybody as “it”. Or “them”. Or, if Texan, “Y’all”.
Sometimes I wonder:
Hey, I think I met this person somewhere:
This is not that flying Winnebago I want, but looks like it is starting to get there … sort-of.
Don’t get me started on cows:
I always wondered how they managed that:
So true:
English does have quirks, but so do all languages:
Sometimes I get like this. I don’t mean to, I just do. It’s cute … right? Right?
For this one, I admit I laughed and laughed. Then laughed some more.
Anyway, stay Deplorable, my friends!
Was that worth reading?
Then why not:
