Turn Off the Government
(The Feature Article)
Defund Big Brother!
A Message from The Publishers
Many of you have knowledge and skills that I don’t possess, so to the extent you’re interested I’d like to task you with finding a forum where we can discuss (as though we were sitting around the fire in a cozy and rustic pub of our mutual choosing) topics that we cannot debate, or even offer for discussion, here (originally shared on FaceBook).
The Libertarian Enterprise was Neil’s vehicle and he used it to showcase that at which he was enormously talented and for a cause we all support. My talents are different, and I feel time pressing in on us to find a way to make his, and our, principles a significant force before (or, if need be after) it’s “too late”.
I think the time has come or is soon coming that we need to stand up as the intellectual heirs of the Founders of the country and reinforce what they got right, and complement what they may have been too innocent—or too noble—to anticipate.
I’m excited to hear ideas that I can take to potential supporters.

Turn Off the Government
by L. Neil Smith
A BLAST FROM THE PAST I’d planned
writing another chapter today. The new novel’s going very well, I’m
enjoying myself and laying down some of the best material of my career.
But then some butt-stupid social parasite, with the rich, ripe contents of
an antique porcelain chamberpot for a brain, went and declared it “Turn
Off the Violence Day”, filling the frequencies from 530 to 1650 kHz with
some of the most feeble-minded head-dribblings it’s ever been my
misfortune to listen to.

Gone Fishing
by Sarah A. Hoyt
Perhaps that title isn’t as reassuring as it should
be, because, well…. we all know I use fish for ballistic missiles. (I’d
say I mean well, but I know you all have a finely trained bullshit
detector, so I won’t.) I should write a post, I should. I started
yesterday, but couldn’t explain why my gut says all this with Russia and
China is just something that their execrable leaders and whoever has his
hand up Biden’s butt cooked up, before the stolen election. After all, all
of them, including those who are—very nominally—our countrymen want to see
America destroyed. It’s an absolute conviction, and yea, I could find the
bunny trail, but I’m not in the mood to write a ten thousand word post
just now, sorry.

Peaceful Change will NOT be Allowed!
by Dennis Wilson
Peaceful marches (and convoys) are merely begging
for a longer leash. Peaceful marches end with jailed leaders (Canada,
Australia, New Zealand, Austria, Germany, France, Spain, USA and
elsewhere) or dead leaders (like Martin Luther King). Peaceful change will
NOT be allowed. To anyone watching the events in Canada, it should now be
painfully obvious that the scumbags in government are COUNTING ON
non-violence from their victims. But, as Thomas Jefferson observed,
The Tree of Liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood
of patriots and tyrants.

Discovering The Virtue of Selfishness in Energy Independence and Foreign Policy
by Jeff Fullerton
It’s been a manic week between the malaise of a
nation in self inflicted decline, growing international crisis and
uplifting discoveries and hope in my own life as I continue to plod along
with the effort to maintain and enhance my own existence and personal
explorations to make sense and find greater meaning.

War on a Budget
by Jim Davidson
We are now being told that there is a war in the
Ukraine, and that it is all the fault of those horrible Russians. Before
I get all your emails about how wrong I am, please do recall that since
2016 you’ve been told, by the same people that those same horrible
Russians were colluding, not with Hillary Clinton who was actually bribed
to support various uranium production and sales operations from Russia,
but with Orange Man Bad. Did you believe?

There Must Be Payback
by Cathy L.Z. Smith
I had hoped, by now, to have made my way
through my first “Audible” audiobook adventure. I might have made it had I
not chosen to start with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s “The Real Anthony Fauci”
as my maiden voyage. Earlier I read Dr. Scott W. Atlas’ “A Plague Upon Our
House” which provided an interesting look at the subversion of the White
House Task Force on COVID-19. That body was chaired by Vice President Mike
Pence, and honestly did nothing at all to change my opinion of him as a
weak-kneed tool foist upon President Trump by the typically
frightened-by-their-own-shadow republicans that infest the swamp we
lovingly call DC.
