The average American needs guns for protection from (among other things) people who want to see to it they don't have guns for protection. — Sam Hall

An update, from just Friday on Justin the Groper's use of the Emergencies Act to clear all those evilly unvaccinated white supremacist truckers (including the Sikh ones...) out of Ottawa last winter. As I mentioned, the Opposition in Parliament has revealed that NO police agency requested the act be invoked to help them deal with the protesters. Well, he hasn't admitted that he, or the Public Safety Minister lied, but he's come up with a new one: the tow truck drivers needed the act. "...drivers weren't willing to send in their rigs [and] being outed or harassed by these protesters... and we saw that one of the only tools we had that was going to be effective in the timeframe necessary was to bring in the Emergencies Act." It's interesting how it took him six months to think of that one, and only after the first set of lies had been exposed.
That update came from another one of Canada's independent (i.e. not government-bought) media organizations, True North News. They can be found at tnc.news, on Facebook, and on YouTube. Hope they're interesting and useful to you.

Some friends of mine have a habit of saying "Thank you," when you say something they believe in and reinforce what they say.
I've been hearing and repeating this for years. This is in fact "gun control's" dirty little secret, it's really a tool for keeping minorities, immigrants, and working-class white folk in our place.
"But some public defenders, often allies of progressive activists, praised the court's ruling, saying gun-permitting rules like New York's have long been a license for racial discrimination."
To some defenders, gun ruling could right a racial wrong
