A Modest Proposal

There has been a great deal of wailing and gnashing of teeth over the provision in the latest fedgov “Bill of Abominations”, that 87,000 new - armed - IRS agents will be hired, to, presumably, “harass the people and eat out their substance.”
For perspective: This represents more than double the current staff at the FBI, and four times the current staff at the US Border Patrol.
So…it seems a bit excessive.
The good news is that a lot of patriots - including conservative military vets recently kicked out because they wouldn’t take the Death Jab, are out of work, but still have valuable skills. And we know to meet these hiring requirements, the IRS isn’t going to insist on a jab.
So my proposal is that as many of these people as possible APPLY for those 87,000 new positions.
A couple of million of us ought to do it. I have no illusions that many of us will actually be CONSIDERED for those positions. But that is not the point. The point is to gum up the internal machinery that will have to PROCESS those applications, separating the serious from the frivolous. (And I love to use that latter word, because the IRS likes to invoke that term all the time, when responding to anti-tax legal arguments).
So there should be no moral (NAP) conflict in applying for a government job to initiate violence against your fellow citizens - because there is no way, more than likely, you will actually be hired.
But rather, consider it an act of civil self defense. And perhaps gumming up the works like this will buy us all sufficient time to get a better Congress elected in the midterms, that can put a stop to the madness by, at minimum, refusing to fund it. Until we have a Real President again.
To paraphrase a line from an old Star Trek film:
During the early Industrial Revolution in France, artisans, fearing the new factories would put them all out of work, protested by throwing their shoes - called “sabots” - into the machinery. Hence the term, “sabotage”.
