L. Neil Smith's
The Libertarian Enterprise

Number 47, May 30, 1999

"A libertarian is a person who believes that no one has the right, under any circumstances, to initiate force against another human being, or to advocate or delegate its initiation. Those who act consistently with this principle are libertarians, whether they realize it or not. Those who fail to act consistently with it are not libertarians, regardless of what they may claim."

Editor's Notes
by John Taylor

As we prepare to celebrate Memorial Day 1999 in whichever way best suits our individual ... ("Idiom, sir?") ... I'd like to offer you, in this edition, some hard-hitting proof that there are still a few folks out here in the mass of the great unwashed who still believe -- passionately, unreservedly, and quite vocally -- in liberty and individual freedom.
I am always proud to present the words of our contributors, acrid with the intoxicating smell of gunsmoke and blinding from the muzzle flashes of brilliance. This is far better than any fireworks display or color guard.
         Let Freedom Ring!
