THE CURRENT ISSUE

EDITORIAL MATTERS:

Greetings! I'm not your local draft board.

There is an interesting post by Mr/Mrs/Ms Unknown-Person(s) called "A Declaration of Separation" at

freeandunashamed.wordpress.com

(also posted in more readable form at billstclair.com/separation.html—thanks Bill!)

We might have a few minor quibbles with it here and there, but it is very interesting, and expresses what is becoming a common thought among more and more people—to the horror and fear of The Ruling Class, no doubt. No doubt!

We are still running our poll:

Mass-Shootings
Do you suspect, however reluctantly, that at least some of the mass-shootings over the past two or three decades were deliberately engineered to achieve a political goal?

Yes
No
Don't know/Have no opinion

Please spread the word about it.

And we are still Reader-Supported:

(Don't forget L. Neil Smith's novel Ceres is being published on the web, with a new chapter every Monday:

Monday April 13th is Thomas Jefferson's birthday. Go celebrate by buying some ammo or something!

Damned If You Do
by L. Neil Smith
From time to time, various publications and organizations offer online opinion surveys concerning the Second Amendment and the unalienable individual, civil, Constitutional, and human right of every man, woman, and responsible child to obtain, own, and carry, openly or concealed, any weapon—rifle, shotgun, handgun, machinegun, anything—any time, any place, without asking anyone's permission. Usually, these polls take the form of a heavily-loaded question like: "Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms?" Herein lies a trap.

NASA delenda est
by Jim Davidson
I would like to thank Mr. Knapp for the temporary appointment as NASA Administrator for his cabinet. I refer to the appointment as temporary because my duty is to eliminate the agency, auction off its parts, return the land to the several states or universities from which it came, and thereby open the space frontier. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is a corrupt agency, a killer, and an impediment to space access. Based on the decades that I've studied the agency, I have come to the conclusion that it is designed to function in exactly these ways. It is working as designed, so "fixing" it isn't a solution.

Stupidity Tax
by A.X. Perez
Occasionally all of us have to pay extra taxes as a result of folly or ignorance on our part. Basically we end up paying extra taxes out of stupidity. I propose that the US Government cut out the rigamarole and just put a tax on stupidity, period. Every act of stupidity should be taxed and people who do stupid things on an above average rate should have to pay an extra added stupid tax. This would have all sorts of interesting results.

Barack Obama Is a Mass Murderer
and your T-shirt isn't funny

by Jim Davidson
Since November 2008 when Barack Obama was elected, one hundred eighteen coalition troops have died in Afghanistan. Since he was elected, seventy-four coalition troops have died in Iraq. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are illegal, undeclared, and unconstitutional. They are an affront to the liberty and sovereignty of the American people.
