THE LIBERTARIAN ENTERPRISE Number 527, July 12, 2009 "Robert McNamara It is good that he died."
Coming to Aid an Old Ally
Attribute to The Libertarian Enterprise As liberals in power in Washington DC and many others have correctly observed fascism is bankrupt, at least morally. Liberals are also big into historical preservation. They are also very much into recycling. They also believe that the state should help corporations and vice versa with the emphasis on vice. So in the current trend of rescuing bankrupt organizations and historical preservation and recycling discarded ideas liberalism has come to the rescue of fascism by nationalizing this noted historic relic. This can be observed by the fact that the state, the unions and it its large financial allies have never been closer. The eventual marriage will sadly not be seen as perverted but the continuation of an old tradition. Even the idea of the sacredness of contracts is being replaced. Instead arranged marriages in every endeavor will be the norm. All these unions will be sanctioned by Rome with its seizures (Caesars?). This way of life is as old as the tsars in the sky and just as distant from today's reality. Conservatives are pleased with the liberals honoring their founders and the traditions of the state. After all did not the Progressive movement find much of value like nationalized health care and compulsory schooling in Bismarck's Prussia? And wasn't Bismarck a key influence in Mussolini and Hitler's thinking? And did not these strong leaders for hard times influence Wilson and Roosevelt and now Obama? If you are waiting for the other shoe to drop as in repression of civil liberties wait no longer. There is a bill to give the Secretary of Commerce control over the internet in case of emergencies that has been sponsored by Senators Olympia Snowe and Jay Rockefeller. Resistance is futile. Join the Borg today. This has been a public service announcement for Americans United for the Borg.
