Pursuing Invariably the Same Object
by L. Neil Smith
Okay, let's get it over with, right up front. There are individuals who believe, whenever they're presented with evidence of what the Declaration of Independence called government's "long train of abuses and usurpations", that it's sufficient to lift their noses into the air and sneer haughtily, "Hmmph—conspiracy theory!"

Principles Not Excuses

Two errors have come to my attention in recent days. One is the error or fallacy of proportional response. The other is the difficulty of institutional stability.

Hey, did'ja ever read...?
by Neale Osborn
Today, I finished a great new book ("Live Free Or Die", by John Ringo). So now, with my book empty, broke, and the bookstore over 30 miles away, I went up-stairs to poke through my boxes of books to find something to re-read. I sure did! I found some I haven't read in years, and others I re-read every year. So I thought to myself "Dude! Maybe some of my Smithian friends and others won't have read some of these. You should put out a list of a few, with a short review!" Well, when an intelligent guy like myself gives me a suggestion like that one, I just have to do it. So here they are, in no particular order. If you've read them, great, give up YOUR opinions on'em. If you haven't, some may require trips to used bookstores, E-Bay, or Amazon.com. But it will be worth it, I promise!!

"Regardless of the Truth"

Several of my articles, which were originally posted here, have been re-posted around the internet. I'm deeply touched to see that people have found some value in them and have chosen to share them with others. Thank you.

Why I Despise Politics
by Bob Wallace
People, individually, can be just fine, but in groups—or as I like to call them, herds—are stupid, deluded, infantile, and murderous. And that's a fact. This is nowhere more evident than in politics, which more than anything else is a herd phenomenon. The enormity of these bad qualities is so destructive I wish politics didn't exist.

Excuses
by Sean Gangol
Even though their numbers are shrinking, Obama still has zealous supporters that defend him, despite his short comings. I have had conversations with many Obama supporters and it seems like they all have two things in common. One of them is that they are in serious denial of Obama and his policies. The other thing that they have in common is the same tired excuses that they regurgitate every time somebody questions the wisdom of their beloved president.

Arizona starting to look like a "Free State"
by Dennis Lee Wilson
I am truly surprised!! After watching Arizona descend from Goldwater "conservatism" to Mad Bomber McCain insanity, I have recently been amazed at changes here. Arizona is starting to look more like a "Free State".

Evinces a Design
by L. Neil Smith
There is nothing particularly new in what I'm about to say. Many others have said it, or similar things, before me. Apparently, they didn't say it loud enough, or often enough, or in the right time or place.

Conspiracy Movie Reviews for the week of April 18, 2010

by Roy L. Fox
Codex Alimentarius Time 2:09; Codex is the food and supplement guidelines being promulgated by the World Trade and World Health Organizations under the false pretense of protecting the public from tainted or otherwise unhealthy food, but in reality promote toxic GMO foods and unhealthy chemical additives while effectively banning many vitamins and herbal supplements. This agenda is being driven by Big Pharma and Big Agra to "harmonize" North America with draconian European guidelines and to do an "end around" America's 1994 Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) consumer protection legislation.
