The Deal
by L.Neil Smith
An air-headed law professor embarrassing Texas with her existence, has added her not very original two cents to arguments "progressives" have been having among themselves (nobody else seems to be listening) about the unalienable individual, civil, Constitutional, and human right of every man, woman, and responsible child to obtain, own, and carry, openly or concealed, any weapon—rifle, shotgun, handgun, machine gun, anything—any time, any place, without asking anyone's permission. That's the full meaning of the Second Amendment she wants to see repealed.

Saying What You Mean
by A.X. Perez
A quick review of some common uses of language in the debate regarding the rights to keep and bear arms and self defense: Reasonable restrictions: This is a null term. What a pro gun person considers reasonable and an anti gunner considers reasonable are unrelated. "You keep using that word but I don't think you know what it means." What one side considers reasonable is totally evil to the other.

Realistic Comparison of the "Affordable Care Act"
by Jeff Colonnesi
I've heard a lot of people throw out comparisons of the affordable care act to other things. Car insurance, boats and guns to name a few. It's odd though that no one seems to compare it to the closest thing we have to something that (like our bodies) is universally needed by everyone. Housing. Specifically, housing insurance.

Clustered Criminals Habituate Homicide
by C.D. Michel
Nearly 50% of all gun homicides involve only 4% of inner city gangsters. This is common, but not widely publicized, knowledge. It's a fact deliberately underemphasized by the Brady Campaign, Mayors Against Illegal Guns, the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, and other gun ban advocates at the Happy Acres Home For the Terminally Bewildered. But a recent study by a sociology professor at Yale, who explored a poor Chicago neighborhood, evaluating homicide victims and their associations should reduce such willful ignorance.

Everybody is a Critic
by Sean Gangol
About three weeks ago, J. Neil Schulman wrote about a negative review that he received on his new movie "Alongside Night" by Davi Barker. Barker pretty much raked everything from the acting to the production values to the lighting over the coals. Everything short of the food catering (as Brad Linaweaver put it) was ravaged by Barker's review. Barker wasn't even satisfied with just trashing "Alongside Night", but he also trashed Schulman's first movie, "Lady Magdalene's" along with Brad Linaweaver's web series, "Silicon Assassins". What seem to irritate Schulman the most about the review was the attack on the production values, which he felt was an attack on the crew that worked with him on the movie. Schulman is also angry at Pasha Roberts because the review was on his Silver Circle blog site and he refuses to defend Schulman's work or allow him to post a rebuttal on the site. Since Schulman has shown much support for Robert's new movie, "The Silver Circle", he feels somewhat betrayed by Roberts' refusal to allow any form of damage control.

Neale's Weekly Gun Rant Volume 35
by Neale Osborn
Australia continues down it's road to serfdom. 325 weapons were seized from a farm in Australia plus 4.2 tons of ammo. A father and two sons were arrested and the weapons seized after a "police audit" of 71 registered weapons somehow revealed that the farmers owned a bit more that what they'd admitted to. Gotta wonder where these reporters get their info, though. They report that Glock handguns valued at $10,000 each were among those seized. REALLY? I doubt that even the Glock 18 (the 9mm machinepistol) retails at 10 grand. And I REALLY loved this description—...
