New York Values
by L. Neil Smith
I confess that I haven't been paying quite as much attention to
this year's General Election festivities as the media (and their advertisers) would
like. I haven't heard a single debate. Between the utter inability of the candidates
to speak to a single issue that's important to me, and the fact that none of them has
promised to reverse a single travesty of the nasty Obama Administration, as a
libertarian, and a human being, I simply don't give a damn who gets the nomination as

This particular subject that I am writing about is something that
quite literally hits close to home. As I have mentioned before I live in the Houston
area, though I live just outside the city limits (thank God). As far as Houston mayors

proportion to either the originality or the danger of such a convention.

Trigger Warning: This issue of this magazine (like all the others) may
contain:
Humor, Snark, Truth, Thoughts That Might Be Different Than
Yours, Ideas You Never Thought Of, Things You Never Heard
Of, and so on.
We (you know, us) note the passing of the great actor Alan
Rickman and the actor-singer-personality David Bowie. Seems
like every time ya turn around these days somebody has up
and died. And yet the people we could really do without are
alive and well. Damnit.
And I continue to recommend
SJWs Always Lie by Vox Day
for a funny and insightful survey of political correctness
ran wild, with good advice on dealing with the insanity.
