Three (More) Stooges
(The Feature Article)

Hitlery Fired!
Fired!
(Tip o' the hat to Mark Ridenour)

Robert LeFevre used to put it, there
is really only one right, the
right to be unmolested, no
matter what you happen to be doing.

Three (More) Stooges
by L. Neil Smith
It would appear that Mark Zuckerberg, one of the co-founders of Facebook, just like so many of the digitally-generated nouveau riche zillionaires presently infesting our poor, battered culture, has lost any ability he ever had (assuming he ever had it) to observe objective reality and reason for himself. No doubt encouraged by his fellow piss-wit Bill Gates, he has been sipping at the Kool-Aid of victim disarmament: the self-evidently brainless conceit, attractive only to the deeply mentally and morally crippled, that you can somehow make other people's lives safer by employing hordes of armed and uniformed goons to rob them—at gunpoint—of their physical means of self-defense.

Understanding
by Jim Davidson
To understand the world in which you live, you need to read some history books. I mention this fact because quite a few people I know have not been reading very much history, and for a while. Nor am I alone in thinking so, since this notion that the future, if it does not resemble the past, must at least reflect it, goes back to the writings of Thucydides on the topic of the Peloponnesian war about 400 years B.C. Not exactly news, then.

Norseman's Diaries: Snowpocalypse II: The Second Coming
by Jeff Fullerton
So much for my assumptions that the major snow event that was the subject of my last article which is (save a few remnant piles)—was going to be the worst that this winter would dish out. I should know better by now since the first of several in 2010 and other winters since. Never the less it sure seemed next to impossible with temps in the 50s yesterday and Saturday. But in a continental climate like this one; winters are deceiving. Norseman's Hell is coming back yet again with some bitter cold after another potentially heavy snow blitz the likes of the last one—or one of last year's events!

The Time To Delincolnize America Is Now!
by L. Neil Smith
Democrats and other sociopathic vermin are employing phony excuses to jettison certain historical figures whom they once revered, but now, having abandoned the cause of individual liberty, they find deeply embarrassing.

EDITORIAL MATTERS

Gertrude Stein, "A Very Valentine"

Very fine is my valentine.
Very fine and very mine.
Very mine is my valentine
            very mine and
            very fine.
Very fine is my valentine
            and mine,
            very fine
            very mine and
            mine is my
            valentine.

As of yesterday I have been married to my wife for a grand total of 29-years. She is very fine. And mine.

In less than 2 hours, you can cast your own Freedom-15 AR15 100% ready to assemble lower receiver.

Polymer recharge kits are available. Cast an unlimited amount of UNREGISTERED 100% Freedom-15 AR15 lower receivers in the privacy of your own home.

Further customize your Freedom-15 AR15 lower reciever by adding one of our eight colors, or custom mix your own color to taste.

Freedom-15 AR15 lower receiver mold kits are available in 5, 10 & 15 unit pour kits.

http://ar15mold.com/

$330 for the kit, includes enough to make five lower receivers!

I have thought building an AR rifle (or five!) would be a fun project. There are lots of "everything but the lower receiver" kits all over the place. I'm not super crazy about the prairie-dog round, but the military seems to be okay with it, so what do I know?

Yet another SJW tries to control what we can read:

Banned by the Publisher
Or, Thank God for Jeff Bezos

by Nick Cole

I launched a book this week and I went Indie with it. Indie means I released it on Amazon via Kindle Direct Publishing. I had to. My Publisher, HarperVoyager, refused to publish it because of some of the ideas I wrote about in it. In other words, they were attempting to effectively ban a book because they felt the ideas and concepts I was writing about were dangerous and more importantly, not in keeping with their philosophical ideals. They felt my ideas weren't socially acceptable and were "guaranteed to lose fifty percent of my audience" as related back to me by my agent. But more importantly... they were "deeply offended."

The book is CRTL ALT Revolt!. I read it yesterday, and enjoyed it immensely. It was funny, dramatic, and imaginative. I'm pretty sure you would like it too, and it will only cost you $0.99. Dang! for Amazon Kindle

Now, I must confess I wasn't able to figure out what was so "deeply offensive". Perhaps it was that most of the characters tried to act rationally during the unfolding of the events? We know that people who manage to belive in such non-existent things as "social justice" somehow fail to believe in actually existent things like reason. Kinda funny, eh? Not funny-ha-ha, but funny-pathetic I mean. I am going to get some more of Mr. Cole's books.

And finally, I found this in the comments section of Sarah Hoyt's blog:

Abbott and Costello explain unemployment

COSTELLO: I want to talk about the unemployment rate in America.
ABBOTT: Good "subject". Terrible "times". It's about 9%.
COSTELLO: That many people are out of work?
ABBOTT: No, that's 16%.
COSTELLO: You just said 9%.
ABBOTT: 9% Unemployed.
COSTELLO: Right, 9% out of work.
ABBOTT: No, that's 16%.
COSTELLO: Okay, so it's 16% unemployed.
ABBOTT: No, that's 9%...
COSTELLO: WAIT A MINUTE. Is it 9% or 16%?
ABBOTT: 9% are unemployed. 16% are out of work.
COSTELLO: If you are out of work you are unemployed.
ABBOTT: No, you can't count the "Out of Work" as the unemployed. You have to look for work to be unemployed.
COSTELLO: But ... they are out of work!
ABBOTT: No, you miss my point.
COSTELLO: What point?
ABBOTT: Someone who doesn't look for work can't be counted with those who look for work. It wouldn't be fair.
COSTELLO: To who?
ABBOTT: The unemployed.
COSTELLO: But they are ALL out of work.
ABBOTT: No, the unemployed are actively looking for work...Those who are out of work stopped looking. They gave up. And, if you give up, you are no longer in the ranks of the unemployed.
COSTELLO: So if you're off the unemployment rolls, that would count as less unemployment?
ABBOTT: Unemployment would go down. Absolutely!
COSTELLO: The unemployment just goes down because you don't look for work?
ABBOTT: Absolutely it goes down. That's how you get to 9%. Otherwise it would be 16%. You don't want to read about 16% unemployment do ya?
COSTELLO: That would be frightening.
ABBOTT: Absolutely.
COSTELLO: Wait, I got a question for you. That means there's two ways to bring down the unemployment number?
ABBOTT: Two ways is correct.
COSTELLO: Unemployment can go down if someone gets a job?
ABBOTT: Correct.
COSTELLO: And unemployment can also go down if you stop looking for a job?
ABBOTT: Bingo.
COSTELLO: So there are two ways to bring unemployment down, and the easier of the two is to just stop looking for work.
ABBOTT: Now you're thinking like an economist.
COSTELLO: I don't even know what the hell I just said!
ABBOTT: Now you're thinking like a politician.

Oh, and, people who study the sun are starting to say that the sun is going into hibernation.

Oh boy. If it's not one thing it's another.
