Time to Declare a War on Cops

There is no "war on cops". No matter what copsuckers... er, I mean badgefluffers... sorry, law enforcement apologists would desperately want you to believe, there just isn't.
But, such a war really needs to begin. Now!
I'm not suggesting that everyone start sniping cops from rooftops. Keep your jimmies unrustled. I'm saying there needs to be a war of education aimed at the absurd beliefs which give cops their power and support. That support may be vulnerable, due to the constant efforts of the police to confirm my suspicions as to their lack of ethics and their true nature. There's no better time than the present to start chipping away at the false legitimacy your neighbors have erected around the police.
There also needs to be a widespread call to "reform" the police to make it too dangerous for them to keep being the occupying army of domestic enemies they have become—if they were ever anything other.
L. Neil's suggestions are a good place to start striking at the delusion that cops are above consequences, being a class unto themselves. It needs to become dangerous for them to violate life, liberty, and property. Yes, police would be crippled. If you believe that would be a bad thing, you haven't been paying attention.
Beyond that, and to keep a new threat of this nature from arising yet again, people need to be educated out of their belief in "authority" -- and laughed at endlessly if they refuse to learn better.
There is a truth about the police that your neighbors will think you are rude to point out. Do it anyway.
Cops are where the boot heel of tyranny meets the human face. Without their willing efforts at committing acts of enforcement, the "laws" become nothing more than what they are at their foundation: the idiotic opinions of powerless bullies. Presidents, congress, fe(de)ral judges, bureaucrats, town councils, and mayors are nothing without their hired guns. They can sit in their clubhouses and dream up all the "laws" they want, but without thugs willing to impose them on people, their "laws" are less than hot air. I want people to recognize this fact. And begin to act on the realization.
Cops are NOT the "thin blue line" between murderous chaos and civilization. They are in actuality the Blue Line Gang—in direct opposition to civilization and society—financed through theft, and committing acts of enforcement which necessarily revolve around violating life, liberty, and property. Due to this, there can never be such a thing as a "good cop"—although, just like any other bad guy, they can sometimes act nice and can sometimes do the right thing. Supporting them is as insane as supporting other rapists, thieves, and murderers. To believe they are a necessary "job" to fill is as crazy as pretending your town needs to hire a designated mugger to prevent freelance burglars from victimizing residents.
I don't need cops, and neither do you. There are civilized alternatives available to everyone today, but even if there weren't, you don't have to have a plan to replace a cancerous tumor with something before removing it. Just cut it out and throw it in the fire.
