Here Come the Stalinoids
by L. Neil Smith
Ayn Rand once asked her readers to imagine that America is
like an airliner. At first the plane full of passengers flies straight and
level toward its destination, but suddenly, it begins to dip and swoop and
dive and roll, throwing helpless people all around the cabin and injuring
some of them. A few brave individuals claw their way toward the flight deck.
They break in (it was easier in those days) and discover to their horror that
the pilot, the co-pilot, and the flight engineer are missing. Nobody is
controlling the aircraft.

The Perilous Passage
by Sarah A. Hoyt
Years ago when I was young, innocent and green as the
greenest species of leek, I formally joined the Libertarian party and
solemnly signed the compact never to initiate violence. I have since shed a
lot of the ideas that made me a member of the Libertarian party—including
the idea that the individualists can organize anything the statists won’t
high jack (and remember that, because it’s important to my conclusions)—but
I still hold by and believe in that.

Why YOU don't want Uncle Sam to tax the rich
by L. Reichard White
Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Alexandria
Ocasio-Cortez, etc. want to decrease financial inequality by taxing the
rich. The main problem with that is the tax money goes to the
government, not to the poor.

Open Source Healing Too
by Mimi Johnson and Jim Davidson
For the last few months, Mimi Johnson and Jim Davidson
have been working closely with the team at KanehCN3.com which is developing
Mimi’s inspirations and inventions into useful healing products. Our work
makes clear certain facts about the healing arts and the people seeking to
dominate them for exclusive profit. The current system is failing to heal
because healed people are not revenue resources for those seeking to profit
from their suffering. Other paths must now be explored.

Norseman's Diaries Supplemental: Prepping for the Big Crunch
by Jeff Fullerton
Was hoping to have the belated Summer going into Fall
edition out this weekend after the disasterville last one involving a
problem with my device that led me to defer publication for that and a few
other reasons. However this week has been a busy one with more interesting
developments worthy of inclusion and even make for a better article than
what has more or less been a focus on the Florida Room and aside from a
power outage one night that thankfully happened in warm weather there has
not been much in the way of weather related Drama. No scary severe weather
locally and no hurricanes like the two that passed through drenching the
Dry Belt last September making it a rather boring season in that regard. It
was not until the previous week when I shifted to the prospect of getting
the house and my heating system ready for winter that my situation and the
weather got more interesting.
