Vast Body of Scientific Data for Past 2,000 Years Affirms Sun, Not CO2, Controls Climate

New study by respected Oxford-trained (DPhil) international geological consultant relying on archaeological, astrophysical, geological and palaeoclimatological data covering the last 2,000 years shows it is the Sun, not CO2, that controls global temperature.

Report: 51 Members of Congress and Their Spouses Collectively Own Millions in Defense Stocks

51 members of Congress or their spouses own between $2.8 million to $5.3 million worth of stock in the top 30 defense contractors worldwide, Sludge reported on Monday, thus placing them in a position to potentially profit from the U.S. military contracting process or wars waged with the firms’ equipment.

AHI’s Mary Grabar: Why I Wrote Debunking Howard Zinn: Exposing the Fake History That Turned a Generation against America
[Read More]

You can get yourself a copy of that book: Kindle or Hardback

Typical Marxist, Zinn just makes-up “evidence” for stuff. I mean, after all, if there is no such thing as “truth”, then therefore there is no such thing as “lying” either. It is all just ideology and personal opinion, and dominance, you see. Nothing unethical about that, you see?

Presidential Candidates’ Gun Control: Average Americans Can’t be Trusted

Sure, they don’t trust us—why should they? And we don’t trust them—why should we? But then they are so very much better than us, more moral, more virtuous, more good-thinking. Right? So we should just shut up and sit down and do what we’re told. Right? If you don’t believe me just ask them. Or ask CNN. Or ….

Filtered coffee helps prevent type 2 diabetes, show biomarkers in blood samples

Coffee can help reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes—but only filtered coffee, rather than boiled coffee. New research from Chalmers University of Technology and Umeå University, both in Sweden, show that the choice of preparation method influences the health effects of coffee.

Many previous studies have shown a connection between high coffee intake and a reduced risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Now, a study from Chalmers University of Technology and Umeå University, offers new insight into this connection, using a novel method to help differentiate between the effects of filtered coffee and boiled coffee.

Well, I don’t know about you, but I’m starting to feel like I got that Flue. Flew. Flu? Flu-like thing anyway. Or, it could just be old age. Old age and illness—hard to tell which is which sometimes.

Anyway, I remain broke. The Enterprise remains non-self-supporting. I do appreciate those of you who subscribe or donate (or smail-mail a $5 bill every month!). But, income remains less than outgo, and I keep decreasing the outgo. Just turned the thermostat gizmo down another degree after getting another ~$500 monthly Propane bill. Just stopped another $50/month prescription (it ain’t gonna help me live forever anyway, I betcha!).

And, to add injury to insult, my internet connection is getting slower and slower. And things time-out sometimes because of being so slow. Still a bit faster than the old dial-up modem, but DSL just wasn’t designed for country folks. “And so it goes….”

Remain deplorable, my friends. What else we gonna do?

Was that worth reading?
