Heh!
Things continue out here in the boondocks pretty much as always, except some of the shelves in the food stores are empty. The schools have closed-up early. A few (not a lot) of businesses have shut-down for the duration. The hospital reports that they haven’t had anyone show up with the Chinese Crud. So, while all is not well, all is not bad, either. So far.
My wife got to do several of her doctor visits via phone, and we have a video-appointment coming up soon.
The net has been slower than usual. Probably all those people streaming tv I’d guess. Out here beyond the “you are too far away” distance for DCL, we haven’t yet tried streaming tv, but maybe soon. Or we could try and get one of them wireless 4G data connections, but that tends to be expensive, although we are poor enough to qualify for the special “pour peepul” rate I think.
I was going to mention some good books I’ve recently read, but it is late and I’ll leave that for next time, unless I forget.
Stay deplorable, my friends!
Was that worth reading?
