College has become a way to cultivate and
preserve ignorance and misconceptions,
sort of a bell jar over the mind that
lets no contrary facts in.

I think you might like this. It is short, rude & satirical. Like all of Ward’s work, it starts out funny. But in the end, the humor is superficial and the tone is 100% “ink and rage.” We’ve gone way past the point of genteel discussion & are perilously near the point where I would applaud a Pinochet. 5 years ago I’d have ridiculed that proposition.

P.S.:
- If you want to quote part of anything I write, you’re free to
edit it as you wish. I trust you not to do violence to the intent.
- I’d love to see you on Mewe. For all the high profile
paleolibertarians, etc. that have been banned from Facebook, I suspect
the % is higher for ordinary non-famous joes. I was banned for
"synthetic sharing" which I guess is a vague way of calling me a bot.

Was that worth reading?
Then why not:
Dangerous Ideas
“Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas?!” — Josef Stalin
Yahoo "news" [sic] has canceled online commenting on all articles! Apparently, too many people were posting views opposing the MSM/government party lines.

The bias is stunning, spelled out in plain English.
The President tore a new one for the education system at his brilliant Mount Rushmore speech for Independence Day.
People who read Page Nine are well aware of the near total takeover of our government school system by the forces of the Marxist/socialism/communism hordes.
Now the President, fighting Democrats tooth and nail, is insisting that students go back into these virulent pestholes in the Fall semester for… what, exactly? An education? Indoctrination into a twisted distortion of what America is? A hatred of America that resembles nothing of our fine land?
Counter-Intuitive Man smells a rat.
"It don't make no sense, no how." (Triple negative is a positive.)
Trump, word-for-word, at Mt. Rushmore:
“In our schools… there is a new far-left fascism
that demands absolute allegiance. If you do not speak its language,
perform its rituals, recite its mantras, and follow its commandments,
then you will be censored, banished, blacklisted, persecuted, and
punished…
“Against every law of society and nature, our children are taught in
school to hate their own country, and to believe that the men and women
who built it were not heroes, but that were villains. The radical view
of American history is a web of lies — all perspective is removed, every
virtue is obscured, every motive is twisted, every fact is distorted,
and every flaw is magnified until the history is purged and the record
is disfigured beyond all recognition.”
—Donal J. Trump, verbatim
Did you know that? Schools led by the teachers union, are teaching hatred for America. If you're a person of no color (aka "white people") you're an oppressor and should hate yourself.
Colorless parents should object. Get the school textbooks. Read about our history.

Small Observations
Wear a hat and protective eyewear when target shooting or hunting. A case on the bridge of your glasses will help you understand why. Of course, when shooting in self-defense you may just have to take your chances on getting a face full of brass (Prepare when you can, but be ready to just act with what you got on hand.)
Between chores at home and the current ammo shortage I am down to one practice session a week instead of the two I prefer. It is at least keeping my skills from deteriorating, if not actually improving as fast as I’d like. (If you can’t advance, make sure you hold what you got.)
Everyone should carry a multitool (leatherman type tool) with them every place not banned by law. The only problem is that the knife blades on them are a little on the thin and delicate side. That’s why you also need a folding knife with a somewhat heavier blade. (Make sure you have the tools you can reasonably expect to need.)
President Trump claims he is sending in Federal Agents to control rioters hiding among peaceful protestors. His opponents claim he is sending in secret police to terrorize peaceful protestors. The news media keep describing the demonstrators as mostly peaceful.
A few years back i popped a vein in the retina of one eye and blood got into the vitreous humor. The result was that the world looked redder out of my injured eye. Still able to see most things, had a blind spot about one letter big, other wise things just looked redder.
Sometimes how you see the world depends on what eye you’re looking through. What eye are we seeing the demonstrators through, mostly peaceful or violent terrorists hiding among the peaceful demonstrators?
What we see now determines how we’ll vote in November.
