It has become pathetically clear that an attack
on religious architecture is a display of savage,
barbarous contempt for civilization itself.

Attribute to L. Neil Smith’s The Libertarian Enterprise

Okay, for some reason last issue I thought it was August 29, when actually it was August 30. I have no explanation for why I thought that. I looked at the calendar at least three times during the preparation of the issue, and each time I read the date as the 29th. I am leaving the date on that issue just because, and as a warning to others. (What others I don’t know.)

I got some email this week that started off: Happy September 1st! Can you believe that March was just 3 short years ago? Seems longer to me.

My kids got me one of those “Help! I’ve Fallen and I Can’t Get Up!” gizmos for my birthday. In case I, you know, fall, and can’t get up or something. Because I’m out in the middle of know-where I guess. All alone. I might up and fall down, ya never know. I will do my best to not, of course.

Oh, and I finally re-newed my NRA membership, which I let expire a while back due to brokeness. Have a slightly less quantity of brokeness currently, so decided I better do it before more brokeness arrives (shhhhh property taxes coming up).

And now, for the funny pictures. Well, okay, some are not so funny, but make a point.

Let us end on a Happy Note:

Stay deplorable mah friends!
