Socialism is a very fragile doctrine that can’t
stand up to any amount of free speech—which
explains why every one of its traitorous allies
from Twitter to CNN is trying to censor us.

Letter from L. Neil Smith

Dear Ken:

It was with some embarrassment that I realized after my article, “Why Am I So Mean To Democrats?” was already published in The Libertarian Enterprise, that the quotation I referred to: “I’m gonna kill you, and cook you. and eat you!”, was not from Martin Riggs (Mel Gibson) in Lethal Weapon, but from John McClane (Bruce Willis) in Die Hard. Mea culpa. May the muses of the movies—and Tony DiNozzo himself—forgive me.

Re: “Prayer Warrior” by Jim Davidson

For the benefit of Christian Believers who do not use the Marian Rosary, there is an interdenominational rosary which uses the beads as an aid to pray and meditate non-Marian Christian prayers and Christian lessons.

As an aside a literal translation of the Spanish version of the Lord's prayer has the verses “and do not let us fall into temptation, but free us from all evil,” instead of the verses which we normally use in English.

Finally, it is worth noting that Mary, under the title the Immaculate Conception, is the Patron Saint of the USA. May we continue to enjoy politically the same freedom that Our Lord granted Mary from sin. With no humor intended, given the crew that appears to be preparing to take over our government, this should be a handful, even for Him.

Re: “Letter to the Editor” by A.X. Prez (see above)

Dear Editor,

To paraphrase a favourite saying, "There are many rosaries. This one’s mine.” -smile-

As an aside a literal translation of the Spanish version of the Lord’s prayer has the verses “and do not let us fall into temptation, but free us from all evil,” instead of the verses which we normally use in English.

I like this approach to the translation better, yes. Many issues arise out of the follies of King James and his minions. For example, the Hebrew is better translated “thou shalt not murder” and “suffer not a poisoner to live” in place of what is found in the KJV.

To be clear, it has never been your government, nor mine. Those in power never ask you if you want a war in Afghanistan, nor any other war, and never ask me, so they cannot possibly have our consent. They are simply those who claim power over us, they are not “our government.”

Spiritually, all things are possible with God. Spiritually, no government derives any just power except from the consent of those governed. In my opinion, acquiescence is not the same as consent.

Your friend and brother in spirit,

Jim Davidson

Ben Bova, RIP

https://www.tor.com/2020/11/30/legendary-science-fiction-author-ben-bova-has-passed-at-the-age-of-88/

I had the pleasure to meet Mr. Bova socially, when he spoke at Western Ky University in 1977, and again briefly at a convention some years later.

Butting in in another State's Business

If you are a Republican and you live in Georgia it is important that you vote in the upcoming Senate runoff. Right now your vote is all that stand between a Senate dominated by the Republican Party and a Senate split 50-50 between the Republicans and Democrats with Vice President Kamala Harris casting the deciding vote in a tie. This essentially means that the Democratic Platform, not what Joe Biden promised, is what will be made into law. We're talking Green New Deal, incredibly restrictive gun control laws, packing the Supreme Court by Democrats, the whole shmeer. Boycotting the elections will accomplish what Mike Bloomberg spent millions to accomplish. Even if your vote is eventually cheated out of existence, at least you went down swinging instead of taking your beating like a whipped mule.

The Nagasaki Vector

Back in 1983 our esteemed publisher published The Nagasaki Vector. Going by the story line it appears to be about events between The Probability Broach and The Venus Belt. It also sets up the premise for The Galatin Divergence.

The story deals with the struggles of one Bernie Greenblum to get his time ship back from a psychopath who wants to establish her flavor of totalitarianism on humanity. At the same time he is supposed to be chaperoning [some critters] so they can enjoy the company of their god, namely him. His efforts are assisted by Winn Bear and friends.

Fun read, try to order enough copies from Amazon to get it reprinted by Phoenix Picks or at least put on Kindle. It's too much of a fun read to be allowed to disappear.
