Special to L. Neil Smith’s The Libertarian Enterprise

Dear All,

If I have done little this year for the cause of libertarianism—not that there is much to be done at the moment in any event—I have not been idle. Here is a list of the some the lectures I have given in various history courses. You can add to this about fifty unlisted videos on Greek and Latin grammar. Once I can get the tone right, there will be a complete reading of Iliad 22 in Greek, which will, I think, be a first for YouTube. There may also be complete readings in Latin of Aeneid VI and De Bello Civili—though it would probably fit in better with actual courses if I were to do the Cena Trimalchionis or the Gospel According to Luke: more firsts, I think, for YouTube.

The lectures run to about fifty hours of my voice. My dictation software says abut half a million words.

I will say more about the revival of my teaching career in a separate essay. Because it will focus on my doings in China, this may be interesting.

Sean
