The Crusades: (Video Lectures)
The Crusades are the defining event of the Middle Ages. They brought the very different civilisations of Western Europe, Byzantium and Islam into an extended period of both conflict and peaceful co-existence. Between January and March 2021, Sean Gabb explored this long encounter with his students. Here are two of his lectures. All student contributions have been removed.

Was that worth reading?
Then why not:
Re: The Great Reset, Reviewed by T.J. Mason (last issue)
"Last, but not least, take back education from the corporate education establishment through the use of school choice with vouchers."
This sort of thing is why Glenn Beck is hard to take seriously. To the extent there is a difference, the government indoctrination camps are socialism and welfare, not corporatism. And School Choice AKA tax-funded vouchers is just another government "solution", a back-up position for the ruling class in case too many parents want to bail out of those camps. This "solution" will destroy any independent schools that remain.
Where schools are concerned, pay attention to Marshall Fritz and John Taylor Gatto, not Glenn Beck.

Some letters, bunched together
They used to be the party animals. Now they’re miserable, puritanical,
politically correct prudes with no purpose. What they need is to have
Trump back in the White House to give them something to fight against and
they’ll have purpose in life again:
Why Are Liberals So Miserable?, by Stephen Moore
If he were still alive—Neil would be having a field day come Sunday
with this one. You should republish his essay “That Maple Leaf Rag”— the
lambasting of a progressive bird cage liner from Canada- which I remember
quite fondly from the pages of “Lever Action” when I first read the book
back in the early 2000s!
