Preventing the New Holocaust
by L. Neil Smith
If you subscribe to, or happen across the September 30th issue of Shotgun News, turn to page 44, where you will discover a large advertisement for Jews for the Preservation of Firearms ownership, or JPFO. I wrote that ad. It contains the most urgent warning I could manage, of the direst threat that our species has ever faced: the plan being carried out by an organization most folks think of as benign and humanitarian, to drastically reshape the future of civilization and the lives of the individuals in it, by gathering them all up, confining them in a few places around the world, "clearing" the countryside and letting it "return to nature", and ultimately exterminating most of the human population.

Notes from the Border
by A.X. Perez
John Kerry predictably signed the UN Small Arms Trade Treaty. This pact is seen as a threat by many (including most readers of this missive and the author) as a threat to the constitutionally guaranteed right of free Americans, hell of free people everywhere, to acquire, possess, and commonly carry while going about their honest business, whatever personal weapons they opine they need to protect their lives, loved ones, liberty, property, and, yes, whatever body(ies) politic to which they choose to bestow their allegiance. The Senate will all but surely refuse to ratify it.

Put the Badguys on Notice!

If I put bumper stickers on my car, expressing my affiliations and all of my views on the issues of the day, you wouldn't be able to tell what color the car is, or who manufactured it. I am an opinionated individual.

The License Plate War
(a work of fiction)

by Paul Bonneau
Edward Snowden died. The Russian media declared it a case of food poisoning. Predictably, the mad dogs of American government and the media (but I repeat myself) competed with each other in howling about how much this fate had been deserved. Obama hinted that it was more than just an accidental event. Putin made no official comment, but there were rumors that the head of the modern-day KGB equivalent received a royal ass-chewing for letting an American hit team get to Snowden.

Separation of Medicine and State
by L. Neil Smith
If there is a single thing that stands as both the signature and trademark for the Presidential Administration of Barack Hussein Obama, it is a willingness to rule against the clearly expressed will of the people. It's interesting to note that, from the viewpoint of the victim, there's no practical difference between a "progressive" politician who expresses a desire to take care of you, and thinks he knows better what you need than you do, and a jackbooted fascist thug who demands that you do what he tells you or he'll kill you, because he's the boss.

First, an apology. It is Susan CallAway, not CallOway. As her deceased husband used to say, the "O"s are from Oklahoma. The "A"s are from Texas. I knew that and misspelled it anyway. But here's her article for this week....

The unabridged audio version of my 1983 novel The Nagasaki Vector, brilliantly read by the great libertarian radio host Brian Wilson, is finally available for purchase.

Many feel that this is the funniest book I've written so far—at least intentionally—and features our old friend Win Bear, G. Howell Nahuatl, a sapient coyote, time traveler Bernie Gruenblum, and Georgie, the time machine who loves him.

HOW TO FIX AMERICA
NOT IN SIX CENTURIES

NOT IN SIX DECADES

NOT IN SIX YEARS

Yes, the principles enumerated in L. Neil Smith's Down With Power, properly applied, will make a visible difference in America's condition in just 180 days!

While we wait months and years for the swift recovery that's in America's power, the con-game—played against us by government, corporations, and unions—goes on.

Stop the con-game. Read L. Neil Smith's Down With Power, available from Amazon.com, BarnesAndNoble.com, and other sources, in trade paperback and e-book editions.
