The Pot and The Kettle
by L. Neil Smith
I listened to the entire speech that Barack Hussein
Obama made in Indiana on Friday, every repulsive word. I listened to that
so-far unconvicted criminal fraudster more on that occasion than I ever did
when millions of gullible idiots told me he was President, establishing
beyond a doubt that my decision back then—not to listen to him—was
well-founded. It would have been an utterly obscene waste of my time. Never
have I heard more lies trash-compacted into a single presentation. This
pathetic creature is a pathological liar who is constitutionally incapable
of telling anything even remotely resembling the truth.

Why Republican Cresent Hardy and Judge Jerry Tao are a whole lot
better for Nevada than Democrats Steven Horsford and Elissa Cadish.
And why voters should reject Michael Roberson, too
by Vin Suprynowicz
Nevada isn’t the laissez-faire, small-government
paradise it once was. But it’s still enough better than such collectivist
hellholes as Chicago and California that people keep fleeing those regimes
to flock here, a state with no state income tax, a state where there’s a low
cost of living, plenty of free parking (always excepting government
courthouses) and (sometimes with the exception of urban Las Vegas) no one
has a problem if you want to cook outside on your charcoal grill, use a
plastic straw, smoke just about anything, or wear your sidearm on your hip.

Eleven at Fifty
by Jim Davidson
Many years ago, early in my career, I worked for Deke
Slayton and David Hannah, Jr., in Houston, Texas. We built Starfire rockets.
We launched them from White Sands Missile Range. Our customer was the NASA
Center for the Commercial Development of Space at the University of Alabama
at Huntsville, and their payload was “Consort” which contained materials
science experiments. Starfire was about half the cost of the Black Brant IX
rocket it was based on, and about a third the time was involved from mission
start to launch. Space Services, the company doing the launch integration,
obtained the first commercial launch licence from the Federal Aviation
Administration, launched in March 1989, retrieved the payload for the
customer, and prepared for a second flight in November 1989. Sadly, the
second flight was a failure due to coning in the first stage. The payload
was retrieved, and my role with the company ended. I moved on to working
with Walt Anderson, Bob Richards, and Todd Hawley at a company called
Microsatellite Launch Systems.

Stopping Power—Talk at Temple Beth Shir Shalom
J. Neil Schulman
In light of the October 27, 2018 shooting at the Tree of
Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, this is an address I made April 30, 1993 at
Los Angeles's Temple Beth Shir Shalom, included in my 1994 Charlton Heston
endorsed book Stopping Power: Why 70 Million Americans Own Guns—a PDF

The Lunacy Continues
by Sean Gangol
When I started to write my last article, the pipe-bombs
hadn’t yet been sent to prominent members of the Democratic Party, as well
as members of the mainstream media and Robert De Niro. I was originally
going to have an update section at the bottom of my last page addressing
these incidents. I initially thought these alleged attacks were nothing more
than a series of false flags created by Democratic operatives. That was
before the perpetrator was caught by the authorities and it seems that he
actually was a Trump supporter. I suppose it is still possible that these
incidents were a series of false flags, but then again there are misguided
fools that lurk on all sides of the political spectrum.

Caledonia Beckons
by Sonora Jack & Friends
Hundreds of years before the current era (about 300 BC)
the Caledonii lived in the highlands of what is today Scotland. Our people
built round houses which symbolised the equality amongst us, that there was
no hierarchical elite, no imposed aristocracy in our culture. Today we have
a stateless tribe.

Latest News & Views from Greater Appalachia: Terror Strikes in Squirrel Hill
by Jeff Fullerton
A terrible tragedy took place a week ago in Pittsburgh
at the Tree of Life Synagogue—a well known icon of the regional Jewish
community in Squirrel Hill. The story broke late morning while I was at work
and I followed it through the day picking up the details of the casualties
and the perpetrator who I won’t mention by name because he really doesn’t
deserve the publicity he has already gotten. It was a disturbing act—though
I find some of the reactions of people to the situation even more disturbing.
