How I Came To Write Ares

fiction novel I call Ares. It is the middle volume of the “Ngu
Family Trilogy”, the first and third parts of which are already in print and
available as Pallas and Ceres. “Ares”, you may know, is the
Greek name for Mars. I has taken me seventeen years, working off and on, to
write this book.

Bad Crazy

Look, to a certain extent we can’t help living in the
crazy years. Okay, sure, we can’t help living in the crazy years because
we’re alive now and the years sure are crazy, but that’s not what I mean.
What I mean is that as a society we can’t help being a
little crazy, simply because we have more abundance than any other time
before us. We have time for humans to get a little insane.
