Weapons of War

Re: “Weapons of War” by L. Neil Smith

For those fuds out there who think that once they get the AR’s and AK’s plus other “weapons of war” the Democratic Socialists (When will they add Workers’ Nationalist to the name, I wonder.) will stop consider that the 30-30 lever action rifle was widely used by the rebels in the Mexican Revolution. Mexicans may not legally own .30 caliber rifles, including 30-30, because it is a military caliber. The song “Carabina 30-30” celebrates the use if lever action rifles as weapons of war.

Enjoy the song:

Letter from L. Neil Smith

Dear Ken,

I am very happy to inform you, and our readers, that my wife Cathy and my daughter Rylla have just become five-year members of the National Rifle Association. I have been a Life Member, myself, since 1974. Although I have often been critical of the NRA over the years, due mostly to their timidity, and do not regard Wayne "Pepe" LaPierre highly, these are dire times and the NRA is family. As Maggie Simpson would say (if she could talk), "NRA4FR".

Where We Go 1 We Go All.

Re: Letter from L. Neil Smith [above]

Ken,

I followed Cathy and Rylla’s lead, and also joined the NRA, but only for a year. With the recent anti-gun rhetoric from the Democrat Convention, gun owners need all the support we can get. I still don’t LIKE the NRA, too quick to trade away our guns, but they are at least a powerful symbol. Hoplophobes do hate them so.

Letter from TJ Mason

Thought for the Day

Socialism steals dreams and eats them for lunch. Its extremes, communism and fascism, replace dreams with an ever-present fear—comply or die. Socialism only partially thrives where leavened with enough capitalism to prevent total collapse.

Capitalism—freed from its toxic excesses involving fraud, monopoly, real or virtual slavery, and cronyism—is the only system that can deliver individual freedom and opportunity for all.

The answer to capitalism is not socialism. It is protecting the people from the vultures and sharks, instead of colluding with them. Otherwise let everyone be free.

Observation

So the California magazine size restriction has been deemed unconstitutional. You can now buy any size magazine you want in that state. After you pass the state mandated background check. If the ammo is even available.

Recently acquired an extra 14 round .40 Liberty magazine. Got lucky and found extra box of .40 social ammo to go with it. Practice ammo is still all but impossible to find in 9mm para., 40 S&W, and .45 ACP, among others.

Then ammo drought has led to me buying a pack of throwing knives. Hopefully I can distract the other guy enough to co cover my friends and family‘s retreat.

Ammunition is what‘s called a complimentary good, y‘gotta have it to exercise your right to keep and bear arms. By this time next year the drought should be over. Hopefully our freedoms will survive until then.
