My Object All Sublime
by L. Neil Smith
I have been writing about individualism and the
politics of individual liberty for almost sixty years, now. In all of
that time, although I am a staunch, almost lifelong libertarian and
consider myself an anarcho-capitalist (Truth in advertising: there are
many puckered sphincters in the movement who might disagree, owing to my
support for President Donald J. Trump.), I have proposed many a law and
even a few Constitutional amendments. Hey, I have layers.

Individual Lives Matter
by Sarah A. Hoyt
If you think that saying “All Lives Matter” somehow
diminishes the fact that black lives matter, you might have a chunk of
Marx in your eye. You might also be a stone cold racist.

Universal Basic Income:
Some Political and Economic Advantages
by Sean Gabb
My vision of Utopia has remained constant since I
was thirteen. It is a nation of free citizens, keeping jealous watch
over a state strong enough to defend the borders and keep a minimal
internal peace, but restricted from doing anything else. Sadly, this
vision is further out of reach today than when I was thirteen. The
modern British State is a vastly extended despotism, limited only by
incompetence and corruption. It is also a despotism to which the
majority of people, with whatever success and at whatever overall
cost, look for immediate benefits. Libertarians and conservatives may
dream of a coup in which the present order of things will be
torn apart and replaced with something more natural and sustainable.
But we might more usefully dream of winning the Lottery or being
offered three wishes by a fairy. Any scheme of change requires the
acceptance that, even if it can somehow be captured, the British State
cannot in the short and medium term be minimised.

Once Upon a Time in Chicago
by TJ Mason
Chad nervously clutched the piece of paper he held
in his shaking fingers. He was dirty and unkempt—a typical person of
the Chicago streets. But he had been picked up by bus that morning and
brought to this precinct house with twelve of his fellows, each told
that if they went into this precinct and voted using the name written
on the paper in his hands, then did it again five more times during
the course of the day, he would get two hot meals, $50, and a bottle
of whiskey for his troubles.

The Federal Reserve For Dummies
by Jim Carter
“What difference does an increase in the National
Debt make? We owe it to ourselves.” virtually every congress-critter
has declared. Such a paraphrased program gives the federal government/
congress purchasing power not previously available—to buy votes from
home. Unfortunately, the inflation created dilutes the purchasing power
and value of assets owned by individuals. The system also conceals the
immense transfer of value to bankers, which has justified the intense
subterfuge and arm-twisting necessary for the Fed’s creation—that this
paper exposes. The inherent destructive forces, evidenced by historic
Rothschild banking1 and mathematical analysis, are also identified.

Want Total Freedom and No Responsibility? Be a Democrat!
by Mike Blessing
Apparently, being a Democrat makes you immune to
the Beer Bug. Who knew? This immunity doesn’t seem to discriminate between
the lefty-fascist "progressive" kind, the "conservative" or
"libertarian" kind or the Republican-wannabe Establishment kind.
