An Open Letter to the Galactic Federation

A very highly esteemed and decorated fellow,
retired Israeli general and space security chief Professor Haim Eshed
has finally spilled the beans (he is not the first in the last couple
of years—look up, if you will, Canadian official Paul Hellyer). He
says that you extraterrestrials are real, that you are here right
now, that you have had diplomatic relations with his country and with
mine for years (seventy-three I would guess), and that you even have
constructed an underground base on Mars. Don’t hit your head on the
ceiling, running down the corridor.

Time Is The Strangest Thing

Sometimes—more than others—I have weird
prophetic dreams. They’re not really very useful, like dreams
normally aren’t. But they tell me that time—or perhaps the human
mind—is more than what we tend to think of it as being. I mean we’ve
all experienced instances of “coincidences” like dreaming of a friend
we haven’t seen in years, and then run into them the next day. Sure.

member of the Libertarian Party, from the first full year that it
existed until it started nominating criminals and assholes and
mutants for President. I ran for public office twice, myself, was the
Political Action Director for the Colorado Libertarian Party, and
served on a number of platform committees, both state and national.
