There Is No “Allow”
by L. Neil Smith
A BLAST FROM THE PAST Recently we’ve heard
astonishing fallout from an impressive study of the achievements, so far,
of a growing effort—almost amounting to a movement—to make it easier for
ordinary folks to legally carry concealed weapons. In states where this
effort has been successful, crime rates (in terms of violent
confrontation) have fallen so dramatically even the media can no longer
deny it.

Decades of Decadence
by Sarah A. Hoyt
Sure, okay. We’re decadent. Why not? I’ve been
hearing it my entire life so it must be true (giggle and since I was born
in the sixties, nooooo, it was totally not Soviet Agit Prop. That’s
Un-possible. Our top men would surely see through that!) but let’s talk
about what decadence is and what it looks like.

The Outrage Machine, Part I
by Cathy L.Z. Smith
I find it nearly impossible to watch the news these
days. When I do actually get a look at what the lunatics here are up to,
spewed by the gaping, drooling idiots inaccurately and unjustly called
“reporters” it’s typically through the (mostly reliable, mostly factual)
reporting of Tucker Carlson, but occasionally through lens of Carl
Benjamin (a.k.a. Sargon of Akkad) on his Podcasts of The Lotus Eaters
presented with an utterly appropriate amount of well-deserved derision and
outright disbelief.

Decentralise and Thrive
by Jim Davidson
This afternoon as I begin writing this essay, I am
feeling ill. Dry cough, fever, head congestion. Doing my best with it.
Most likely won’t attend meeting for worship tomorrow to limit who gets
what I might have, in the event this crud is contagious. If I get too
tired and stop adding links, you’ll just have to go search on your own.
Try DuckDuckGo, which, although it interacts with Google, tries to
safeguard your IP address for you.So, the topic is networks for
decentralisation. A few months ago, God told me in prayer to start a
freedom cell here in Eureka Springs. If you have not been, you should
probably visit FreedomCells.org and look into attending their virtual
gathering later this month. The Freedom Cells groups are decentralised,
there is no hierarchy to join, just get together with people you know and
go where you wish. Freedom Cells was started by author Derrick Broze and
my friend John Bush. I think that John and I first met in 2009 or so at a
Campaign for Liberty event in the Kansas City area. If you recall, the
Campaign for Liberty was started by the Ron Paul team after the GOP stole
the primaries in the 2008 election and prevented Ron from winning in,
e.g., Louisiana and other early-ish states.

In Defense of Jeff Bezos and the Vision of the High Frontier
by Jeff Fullerton
My thoughts on another article attacking commercial space flight:
Jeff
Bezos‘ ‘O‘Neill colony‘ dreams ignore the plight of millions living on
Earth now The world is in crisis and workers everywhere,
including at Amazon, are hurting. Where is Bezos’ pledge to help with our
current problems?, by Paris Marx, host of the “Tech Won‘t Save Us”
podcast
Makes a good follow up to a previous article defending
the recent flight of actor William Shatner as a space tourist on a rocket
launched by the Blue Origins company founded by entrepreneur Jeff Bezos
