The Impeachable Offenses of Barack Hussein Obama, Part 7
by Terence James Mason
An observation: whatever you think about the legality of the income tax, allowing certain classes of people, including "illegal immigrants" and Administration fellow travelers like Al Sharpton, ignore their obligation to pay the same taxes as everyone else under the law is itself an impeachable offense—accessory after the fact to tax evasion—as well as being a breach of trust—supporting unequal treatment under the law. Prosecutorial discretion doesn't cut it—when once class of persons gets prosecuted and one doesn't.

A New Political "Party"
by L. Neil Smith
I've been thinking hard, for a long time, that there ought to be a better way of doing politics, which, for me, consists of nothing more than reducing—ultimately to zero—the impact of government on my life.

The Forgotten Ones
by Jeff Fullerton
A couple weeks ago a friend sent me a link to a site chronicling the persecution of Germans during World War II. I had long been familiar with the demonization of that ethnic group in the previous World War going back to stories from my Grandmother and other family members who were alive at that time. Had also learned about the same from other sources—books and media depicting lurid tales like the fate of the Hutterite boy—a conscientious objector—tortured and beaten who died chained naked in a drafty dungeon in the military prison at Ft Leavenworth. Or how they stopped teaching German language studies in public schools—the irrationality of that decision was very apparent to me as a youth. If you have group of people you are at war with—you would think you would need people you could trust among your own countrymen who were fluent in the language for intelligence work?

Secular Statists
by Sean Gangol
Usually I try not to comment on anything regarding religion because it seems like an issue that could easily create a divide in the libertarian movement since you probably have at least one libertarian in every major religion. There are also quite a few atheists and agnostics in the movement, like our very own L. Neil Smith, Penn & Teller, Adam Kokesh, Stefan Molyneux and John Stossel. Even Michael Shermer, the editor of the Skeptical Inquirer has libertarian leanings (he still has a long way to go before he can call himself a true Scotsman).

The Crisis
by Tyrone Johnson
Sean Gruber wrote (and Sara Kiper edited) a very thorough and well-reasoned essay which you were good to publish. It is true that the police are a gang, and not any more in charge here than anyone else. It is true that they are exactly the same kind of goons that Stalin used to put people in camps. It is certainly true that the use of force in self-defence is justified any time anyone feels that they should use force to protect life, liberty, or property.

Neale's Weekly Gun Rant for the weeks of 11-23-2014 & 11-30-2014
by Neale Osborn & Tony
I want to apologize to my readers for missing last week, but I am having an ongoing family problem—my 76 year old father is going downhill fast, and I've been commuting from western NY to central Jersey, on the shore (301 miles each way) every few days. So I haven't been able to really do this justice. Thus, my great friend, Tony, who has filled in for me once before, is going to do me a favor and fill in some of his own thoughts from here, down to Mama Liberty (where, normally speaking, I'd be starting this—but this one is what she sent me LAST week, which never got in! LOL). Tony will ALSO choose the quotes for this week. To all those, friends, friendly antagonists, and just antagonists, who have sent me moral support during this difficult time, I deeply appreciate it. It's been hard on Mom, and I just am spending more time with them to give her a break—my sisters (who live on the same property) cannot do it all. Besides, this is what family does. I hope to return by 12-6-2014. If I can't, I have an anti-gun friend who'd LOVE to fill in once—wouldn't that be interesting!!

Neale's Weekly Gun Rant for 12-7-2014
by Neale Osborn
As is my usual wont, I shall begin with Mama Liberty's latest. AND, since this one is an exclusive, I won't even edit it for certain venues! LOL. You wake in the night, hearing glass breaking, or maybe someone pounding on the front door hard enough to rattle the walls. INTRUDERS! ALERT! Condition RED! Check. You jump out of bed, grab your gun and charge down the stairs... OOPS! WAIT a minute. Not so fast. Do you have a plan to deal with something like this? If not, why not?
